The Gitzel Cup

During the year, Gitzel Cup points are awarded for various achievements.

At the end of the year there will be a two-week playoff. The winner of the Gitzel Cup will have the lowest two round net score.

The top 10 players in each handicap division will be rewarded for their success during the regular season and will have the advantage of deducting a number of strokes from their two-round playoff total, based on their regular season standing. The strokes to be deducted are as follows:
1st place – 6 strokes
2nd – 5 strokes
3rd and 4th – 4 strokes
5th and 6th - 3 strokes
7th and 8th – 2 strokes
9th and 10th – 1 stroke
These strokes will be deducted from their net two round playoff total.
